For over two decades, my life has run on two parallel tracks — one of building ventures in the world, and one of sitting still within it. This is the story of the second track.
Feb 2003 – Aug 2017 · Art of Living Foundation (14 years)
Began with my first Happiness Program in February 2003, and practiced Sudarshan Kriya and Hari Om Meditation regularly and diligently for the next 14 years.
Completed every major course the Art of Living Foundation had to offer — Advanced Course, DSN, I Lead, I Excel, Vigyan Bhairav, and more — keeping detailed notes of each course's learnings.
After 14 years, felt I had learned what I was meant to learn on this path, and a quiet sense of saturation set in.

Finally an Ashram Weekend at Pune in Nov 2019
Feb 2020 – Present · Yogoda Satsanga Society of India (YSS)
Visited the YSS ashram at Dakshineswar in January 2020 — the visit that led me to register, in February 2020, for the 18 Basic Lessons of Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda.
Went on to register for the Supplemental Lessons, deepening my study and practice of Kriya Yoga.
Today I remain a disciple of Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda and a practicing Kriya Yogi — the path I expect to walk for the rest of my life.
The Constant Through It All
Programs changed, teachers and lineages evolved — but for close to 23 years, I have meditated almost every single day, without fail.
If there's one thing I'd want a fellow seeker to take from this journey, it's this: not the specific path, but the unbroken sitting. The programs opened doors; the daily practice carried me through them.
